Product Engineer

About the role

Aptiv is seeking a Product Engineer to design and develop connection systems for leading automotive brands. You will work on cutting‑edge applications, ensuring performance, quality, and timely delivery while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop designs for connection systems and their components.
• Conduct design reviews to meet or exceed functionality, ergonomics, and customer requirements.
• Validate product performance against client‑specified tests.
• Deliver prototypes, pilots, and production parts on schedule and to quality standards.
• Provide engineering support to tooling, processes, manufacturing, and quality areas.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and ensure compliance with specific requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechatronics or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and results‑orientation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks independently.
• Comfort working with people at all organizational levels.
