Production Operator I

About the role

The Production Operator I supports basic level manufacturing tasks in an electronics environment, ensuring products meet quality standards and customer deadlines. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with equipment, documentation, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate tools, equipment, and processes following provided instructions or limited guidance.
• Assist in creating work instructions when none exist.
• Follow standard work, quality policies, and customer specifications while monitoring own output.
• Maintain accurate time‑keeping, labor tracking, inventory control, process documentation, scrap, and quality records.
• Support improvement projects, suggest innovative solutions, and help enhance safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Keep certifications and training up to date, complete assignments on time, and train teammates when assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Approximately one year of experience in electronics production or manufacturing (preferred).
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or within a cross‑functional team.
• Strong oral and written communication, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
• Physical ability to sit/stand for a shift, lift up to 20 kg, reach, and use hand tools.
