About the role

Nidec is hiring a Production Operator in Monterrey, Mexico, to operate and maintain production machinery and assemble products so that production runs efficiently and produces high-quality goods. The operator also keeps production records, performs quality checks and carries out basic troubleshooting when machinery breaks down.

Key responsibilities

Operate and maintain production machinery
Assemble products
Keep production records
Perform quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications
Perform basic troubleshooting to resolve machinery breakdowns
Follow all safety regulations and guidelines
Keep the work area clean and organized
Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers

Required profile

High school diploma or GED equivalent
0-2 years of experience
Able to read and interpret technical instructions, manuals and blueprints
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
