Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor leads a team of manufacturing workers at the Ramos Metals Plant, ensuring that daily operations meet quality, safety and efficiency standards while complying with company policies and applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of production staff and enforce plant rules, safety regulations and attendance policies.
• Review production orders, plan operations, set priorities and create schedules to meet product specifications and customer expectations.
• Monitor production performance, resolve operational, manufacturing and maintenance issues, and control costs.
• Inspect machines and equipment to guarantee optimal performance and utilization.
• Develop, revise and enforce standard operating procedures, ensuring workers follow them.
• Promote safe housekeeping practices, conduct inspections and investigations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Provide orientation, on‑the‑job training, counseling, coaching and continuous development for the team.

Required profile

• Strong leadership with the ability to manage and motivate production teams.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards and safety regulations.
• Experience in planning production schedules and coordinating manufacturing activities.
• Ability to analyze reports, identify problems and implement corrective actions.
