Production Supervisor – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Siemens is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team in a fast‑moving environment. You will be responsible for maintaining high productivity while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve productivity KPIs by efficiently managing resources and maintaining EHS standards.
• Improve safety for all personnel working on or around production lines.
• Drive initiatives to reduce production errors, enhance product quality, and increase overall productivity.
• Maintain the production schedule by setting priorities, assigning staff, monitoring progress, and resolving line constraints.
• Plan, oversee, and document training for production personnel.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for team members.
• Coordinate with purchasing, planning, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with the local union in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
• Act as liaison between Manufacturing and Engineering departments.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar production supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 6S methodologies.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective people‑management and communication skills.
• Intermediate level of English.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (day, evening, night).
