Product/Test Technician I

About the role

TE Connectivity is seeking a Product/Test Technician I to support the documentation of product specifications, processes, and modifications for new applications. The role involves hands‑on testing and detailed record‑keeping to ensure product quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Document specifications of existing products and processes.
• Record modifications and test results for new applications.
• Perform functional and safety testing using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain accurate test logs and reports.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Some degree or coursework in electronics or electricity.
• At least 1 year of experience working with electronic/electrical components and tools.
• Full availability for rotating shift schedules.
• Team‑oriented, responsible and able to communicate effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with manual and electric tools (pliers, screwdriver, cordless drill).
• Ability to solder using a soldering iron (preferred).
• Experience operating an oscilloscope.
• Experience with power supplies.
• Experience with hi‑pot testers.
• Experience with multimeters.
• Experience with milliohm meters.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Basic safety knowledge for handling electricity.
