Professional LSS MU Controls Engineer

About the role

Join the Lifecycle Solutions and Services (LSS) Modernizations and Upgrades team as a Controls Engineer. You will design schematics and control panels, lead commissioning activities, and support customers across the USA while being based in Monterrey.

Key responsibilities

• Complete design of schematics and control panels, including bill‑of‑materials development.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risks and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Perform site audits, on‑site commissioning, and create commissioning plans and schedules.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance to installation teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (or higher) in Electrical Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in controls engineering, including hardware/software integration.
• Proven ability to lead semi‑complex system designs and handle moderately complex assignments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Rockwell (Allen‑Bradley) or Siemens PLCs.
• Knowledge of VFDs, AC drives (open & closed loop) and HMIs.
• Familiarity with Ethernet/IP network design and machine safety concepts.
