Program Manager I

About the role

Jabil is hiring a Program Manager I in Chihuahua to coordinate and manage small to medium-sized programs, ensuring successful project execution from initiation to closure. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to meet program objectives, scope, schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program plans covering scope, schedule, budget and resource allocation.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to reach program milestones and deliverables.
• Communicate program status, risks and issues to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify, track and mitigate risks and resolve issues in a timely way.
• Ensure adherence to program management methodologies and best practices.
• Manage client expectations and build strong relationships throughout the program lifecycle.
• Facilitate regular program meetings and produce accurate program reports.
• Monitor and control program budgets, and drive continuous improvement in program management processes.
• Support sales and business development teams in pre-sales activities and proposal generation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects at once.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• PMP or another relevant project management certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project and Jira.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
