Project Engineer – Aircraft Development

About the role

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the development and delivery of Bombardier’s aircraft platforms. In this role you will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure project milestones are met while maintaining schedule, scope and budget integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Support projects and activities related to key milestones for existing and new aircraft platforms.
• Assist cross‑functional teams in defining project scope, schedule and budget inputs.
• Gather information and coordinate Engineering Change planning across Bombardier sites in Mexico, Canada and the USA.
• Track priorities, update schedules and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Identify potential risks, support mitigation planning and follow‑up actions.
• Prepare budget and resource allocation data and contribute to project status reports for various governance levels.
• Support Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) cross‑functional reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of program/project management processes and principles.
• Exposure to aircraft technical or manufacturing environments through internships, co‑ops or early‑career projects.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; French is a plus.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Initiative, collaborative mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance.
• Curiosity and motivation to grow technical and project‑management knowledge.
