Project Manager - Renewable Energy

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, execution and delivery of data‑driven digital solutions (SCADA and PPC) for renewable energy sites such as photovoltaic, wind and battery storage. Based in Mexico City, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes for GreenPowerMonitor, a DNV company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from purchase order receipt through final acceptance, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.
• Define project requirements, create detailed plans with milestones, timelines, resource allocation and risk mitigation.
• Supervise Project Engineers and cross‑functional teams (logistics, purchasing, IT, etc.) and delegate tasks efficiently.
• Oversee procurement, supplier assignments and timely acquisition of materials and services.
• Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining relationships and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate progress, challenges and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing end‑to‑end projects in the renewable energy sector or related technical fields.
• Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Excellent organizational and risk‑management skills.
• Fluent English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
