Python Developer – CAD Automation (Tijuana)

About the role

We are looking for a Python Developer specialized in CAD automation to join our engineering team in Tijuana. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining automation tools that help hardware and software teams work more efficiently in a fast‑paced semiconductor development environment. Relocation assistance is available for candidates not already based in Tijuana.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Python‑based automation tools and workflows for CAD processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across engineering environments.
• Collaborate with global hardware, software, IT and EDA teams to improve and standardise automation processes.
• Create and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation for tools and procedures.
• Identify optimisation opportunities and implement scalable, reliable solutions.
• Provide support to internal users, ensuring tool performance and reliability.

Required profile

• Strong Python development experience.
• Proficiency working in Linux environments.
• Analytical mindset with solid troubleshooting and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges.
