QA Test Engineer (Manual and Tosca)

About the role

Rockwell Automation is hiring a QA Test Engineer (Manual and Tosca) for its Global Quality Assurance Centre of Excellence in Mexico City. You will work with cross-functional teams to lead quality programs, implement automation strategies and ensure best practices across the software development lifecycle. The position reports to the Technical Leader, Digital Commerce Solutions, and follows a hybrid model.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute test strategies, automation frameworks and test cases for functional, regression, performance and data integrity testing.
• Collaborate with business and development teams to ensure test coverage, shift-left practices and quality improvements.
• Provide training, workshops and governance to promote QA best practices across teams.
• Manage test environments, tools and data configurations to support enterprise-wide testing.
• Conduct root cause analysis, code reviews and contribute to architectural improvements for testability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manual testing, test automation and software development.
• Tosca certifications AS1 and AS2.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with manual testing and automation tools such as Tosca, Selenium and UFT.
• Test management tools such as Jira and qTest.
• Scripting languages.
• Preferred: Tosca DI and data integrity testing, SQL, DAX, MDX and ETL testing, performance tools such as JMeter, Gatling or Postman, CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins, BDD frameworks and enterprise test tool administration.
