Quality Engineer (Automotive)

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our automotive manufacturing team at Stellantis. The role focuses on ensuring part quality, solving build issues, and supporting supplier quality throughout the assembly plant.

Key responsibilities

• Install and inspect parts on the Quality Assurance Facility (QAF).
• Validate containment actions on parts and develop interim containment actions.
• Perform root‑cause problem solving for build issues.
• Manage PERs (Product Evaluation Reports) and IAAs (Interim Action Alerts).
• Conduct incoming part sign‑off and correlate QAF data to supplier measurements.
• Work 100 % onsite at the Stellantis assembly plant.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Chemical, Civil or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university.
• At least 5 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years in automotive product engineering, manufacturing, supplier quality or product quality.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and the Supplier Quality Manual.
• Strong understanding of statistical data analysis, metrology principles and root‑cause analysis methods.
• Familiarity with defect resolution, escalation processes and vehicle design, assembly and process control.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally, meet deadlines and drive issue‑resolution actions.
