Quality Engineer

About the role

The Quality Engineer will ensure that both incoming materials and manufacturing processes meet Epta's technical and quality specifications. You will work closely with suppliers and production teams to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain incoming inspection criteria, control plans, and verify raw material compliance.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and validation of incoming goods; manage non‑conforming materials.
• Support supplier quality improvement initiatives and follow up on corrective actions.
• Develop and implement process FMEA, quality control plans, and monitor manufacturing processes.
• Apply statistical process control (SPC) to track stability and capability, identify deviations, and lead corrective actions.
• Lead root‑cause analysis using 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa and ensure proper use of quality tools such as Poka‑Yoke and visual controls.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and product certifications, support internal audits, and ensure traceability of inspection records.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing engineering or a related field.
• Experience in both incoming inspection and manufacturing process control.

Required skills

• APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans.
• Metrology and inspection techniques.
• ERP/SAP systems and quality‑software tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and related product certifications.
