Quality Manager

About the role

Flowserve is looking for an engaged manager to lead the Quality Group at one of its manufacturing sites. The role focuses on driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory and corporate quality requirements, and supporting product excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with site leadership to communicate customer, regulatory and organizational quality requirements.
• Manage the QA team and Manufacturing Indirect QC team to balance quality targets with operational throughput.
• Oversee documentation and implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet customer, regulatory and corporate standards.
• Partner with leadership to ensure personnel performing quality‑related functions are trained and demonstrate required competencies.
• Coordinate internal, customer and third‑party quality system audits, including on‑site and remote surveys.
• Approve business system access requests and conduct annual access audits.
• Maintain the corporate corrective action system, analyzing non‑conformances and driving resolutions.
• Implement performance measurements to evaluate product quality, customer satisfaction and cost of quality, using Lean/Continuous Improvement tools.
• Develop and qualify domestic or low‑cost region suppliers in accordance with ISO 9001.
• Lead the Material Review Board process and champion site‑level QMS implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading quality teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and quality system compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and CI tools.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with site leadership, customers and auditors.
• Experience managing corrective action processes and supplier qualification.
