Regional Tax Manager

About the role

CCL Industries, a leader in specialty packaging and labeling, is looking for a Regional Tax Manager to oversee tax matters for its Mexican operations. Based in Querétaro Industrial Park, the role involves coordinating tax activities across multiple plants and ensuring compliance with Mexican tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review the tax package for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Coordinate with controllers and external tax advisors to interpret legislation correctly.
• Manage relationships with the SAT, auditors, and other tax authorities, including follow‑up on audits.
• Standardize tax handling for multiple business names and locations.
• Lead the annual tax strategy for all affiliated companies in Mexico.
• Update internal tax policies and processes in line with regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; a master’s degree or specialized tax training is a plus.
• Approximately 15 years of experience in tax, preferably within the manufacturing‑industrial sector.
• Around 5 years of experience in a managerial tax role.
• Preferably Big Four experience as Tax Manager or Tax Senior (EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC).
