Remote Controller / Senior Accountant Contractor

About the role

Fusion Growth Partners is seeking an experienced offshore Controller / Senior Accountant Contractor to join its finance team. This full‑time remote position will oversee daily accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and support reporting processes for multiple business entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting operations.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and support month‑end close.
• Assist with financial and operational reporting.
• Audit financial records in QuickBooks Online.
• Monitor customer balances, collections, and open invoices.
• Assist with commission tracking and partner‑related accounting.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies proactively.
• Improve accounting systems, workflows, and internal controls.
• Help create SOPs and document processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or controller experience.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online experience (required).
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Remote work experience with U.S.-based companies preferred.
