Remote Staff Accountant for Property Management

About the role

We are looking for a Remote Staff Accountant to support a portfolio of community and HOA properties. You will manage monthly financial processes, ensure accuracy of financial data, and collaborate closely with the Property Management team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports for assigned communities.
• Review and reconcile bank statements each month.
• Create simple summaries of financial results for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor bank balances, handle transfers, and process investment requests.
• Enter journal entries and update budget templates as needed.
• Maintain organized electronic files and follow company accounting procedures.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve accounting questions.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and special projects.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably in property management or HOA environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Ability to work under deadlines with high accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑starter with good time‑management and attention to detail.
