Resident Engineer – Gas Turbine

About the role

The Resident Engineer will provide on‑site technical advisory and supervision for gas turbine maintenance and operation at a customer facility in Nuevo León, Mexico. The role ensures compliance with the Contract Service Agreement and supports the customer throughout preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate resources and logistics with the CPM to execute services and maintenance on the customer site.
• Provide technical advisory and supervision during routine and corrective maintenance.
• Support the customer during preventive maintenance and troubleshoot unplanned events or trips.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory to meet contract guarantees.
• Give technical direction to craft labor during power equipment outages.
• Develop deep technical knowledge of gas turbine systems and related control equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree equivalent knowledge level.
• Background in Instrumentation & Controls and/or Electric & Excitation.
• Minimum 3 years experience in gas turbine maintenance/operation.
• Minimum 3 years experience coordinating maintenance tasks in power plants.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Legal right to work in Mexico and a valid driver’s license.
