Retail Sales Director

About the role

The Retail Sales Director will lead Kraft Heinz Mexico’s retail commercial agenda across Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Proximity, and E‑Commerce. Reporting to the executive leadership team, the role is fully accountable for the commercial P&L and for turning business ambition into actionable channel strategies and execution routines.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive commercial strategy for all retail channels, ensuring delivery of net sales value, revenue, profitability and investment effectiveness.
• Lead the commercial P&L, overseeing target setting, investment allocation and performance tracking.
• Build and strengthen senior relationships with key retail partners to create win‑win growth opportunities.
• Identify and close new commercial partnerships that expand market reach.
• Partner with Finance, Marketing, Category and senior leadership to uncover growth levers and translate strategy into execution.
• Monitor market, shopper and competitor dynamics and adapt plans quickly.
• Develop and inspire a high‑performing sales organization, fostering capability, accountability and ambition.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in channel sales, business development, key account management or commercial leadership within consumer goods.
• Proven track record of delivering profitable growth through operational discipline and high‑impact customer partnerships.
• Experience leading retail chain accounts and multi‑channel commercial strategies.
• Strong understanding of retail selling initiatives, category management and information‑based selling.
• Advanced English proficiency and a bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field.
