SAP ABAP Developer – ECC & S/4HANA

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to design, develop, and enhance SAP applications in both ECC and S/4HANA environments. The role works closely with architects, managers, and functional consultants to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ABAP‑based applications for ECC and S/4HANA.
• Collaborate with IT architects, development managers, and functional consultants to implement system enhancements and new functionalities.
• Provide Tier 3 support, including incident resolution, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support system upgrades, patches, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and validation to ensure solution stability.
• Develop proof‑of‑concepts and prototype environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, functional specifications, and support guides.
• Manage code according to development standards and version‑control practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience in ECC and at least 3 years in S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of SAP Finance (FI/CO), Order‑to‑Cash, and tax processes.
• Experience with Mexican e‑accounting compliance is a plus.
