SAP Lead Consultant – Financial Processes

About the role

Viva, the leading ultra‑low‑cost airline in the Americas, is seeking an experienced SAP Lead Consultant to drive the evolution of its financial and business processes on SAP S/4HANA. You will act as the functional bridge between business units, external partners, and the IT team, ensuring solutions align with architecture, security, and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis, definition, and documentation of functional business requirements.
• Coordinate SAP S/4HANA projects, enhancements, and implementations with specialized partners.
• Monitor incidents, development tasks, and project plans to guarantee on‑time, in‑scope delivery.
• Validate that solutions meet both business and technical specifications.
• Ensure implementations comply with architecture, security, and IT governance.
• Oversee handovers and system enhancements to business users for smooth operational transition.
• Promote SAP as a strategic platform for financial process transformation.
• Support rollout of new SAP modules and functionalities as needs evolve.
• Communicate progress, milestones, and incident status to stakeholders and IT leadership.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities to maximize SAP value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of experience implementing and evolving SAP solutions.
• Proven track record leading SAP S/4HANA implementation and support projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Treasury (TR), Materials Management (MM) and Human Capital Management (HCM).
• Experience with Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and IFRS 16 financial processes.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Demonstrated leadership, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
