SAP QM Consultant

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP Quality Management (QM) Consultant to join its SAP team. The consultant will work with business stakeholders, functional consultants and technical teams to design, configure and support SAP QM solutions that align with client quality processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP QM configurations.
• Configure and customize SAP QM modules (Quality Planning, Inspection, Notifications, Certificate Processing, Audit Management) in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Support end‑to‑end implementation projects, upgrades, rollouts and enhancements.
• Conduct fit‑gap analysis, define best practices and prepare functional specifications for custom developments.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers during development, testing (unit, integration, UAT) and defect resolution.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues and deliver user documentation and training.
• Participate in global SAP transformation and S/4HANA migration initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven hands‑on consulting experience with SAP QM, preferably on SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of quality management processes in manufacturing environments.
