Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

We are a US‑based agency that helps painting and concrete coating contractors grow through data‑driven web, SEO, ads, and CRM strategies. As an SEO Specialist you will own the organic performance of multiple contractor accounts, delivering technical, on‑page, and local SEO improvements while proving results with clear reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Implement technical SEO fixes such as schema markup, redirects, canonicals, indexing controls, internal linking, and site architecture.
• Optimize on‑page content by aligning with search intent, targeting keywords, updating metadata, refreshing content, and handling QA.
• Manage local SEO initiatives including Google Business Profile optimization, citation building/cleanup, and multi‑metro ranking strategies.
• Monitor and report rankings, traffic, and indexing using GSC and Ahrefs; identify competitor gaps and explain performance changes.

Required profile

• 2–4+ years of hands‑on SEO experience (technical, on‑page, and local) with demonstrable results.
• Strong diagnostic ability to pinpoint root causes of traffic drops.
• Daily fluency with Ahrefs, Google Search Console, RankMath, WordPress/Avada, BrightLocal, and ClickUp.
• Comfortable integrating AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) into the workflow.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Available 40 hrs/week with overlap to US Eastern Time (Mon‑Thu 8 am‑5 pm ET, Fri 8 am‑12 pm ET).
