Senior Accountant – Global Operating Expenses

About the role

The Senior Accountant joins Stori’s Global Accounting and Tax team, overseeing worldwide operating expenses and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will partner with department leaders to analyse spend, manage intercompany transactions, and drive process excellence across the accounting function.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all company operating expenses using Clara, Coupa, and NetSuite.
• Partner with department leads to review spend, explain monthly variances, and support budget‑vs‑actual analysis.
• Lead month‑end close activities for operating expenses, including accruals, prepaids, and re‑classifications.
• Prepare, maintain, and reconcile monthly intercompany transactions and service fee records.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations for key expense and clearing accounts.
• Record and reconcile foreign‑currency transactions across multiple entities.
• Support internal and external audit requests related to expenses, controls, and reconciliations.
• Identify and implement process‑streamlining and automation opportunities.
• Research and resolve complex accounting issues as they arise.

Required profile

• College degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of CNBV and SAT requirements.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Advanced level of English.
• Experience with multi‑country tax and accounting differences.
