Senior Android Developer (Kotlin Multiplatform)

About the role

Coforge is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join its hybrid team in Mexico. You will work on modern Android and cross‑platform solutions using Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform, delivering high‑quality, scalable mobile experiences for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to define and build customer‑centric mobile features.
• Own the full development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment and post‑launch optimisation.
• Develop performant Android applications with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and modern Android frameworks.
• Integrate data via GraphQL and REST APIs and ensure reliability, accessibility and performance.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical roadmaps and engineering standards.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews and share knowledge.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and on‑call rotation to improve platform resilience.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional mobile application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and hands‑on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Solid experience building Android apps with Jetpack Compose.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting (3 days onsite in Hermosillo or Mexico City).
• Conversational English, both written and spoken.
