Senior Back End Developer (Spring Boot)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Back End Developer with deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot to design, build, and maintain high‑performance micro‑service applications. The role involves close collaboration with architects, QA, front‑end teams, DevOps, and business stakeholders in both Spanish and English.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and related Spring modules.
• Create and enhance RESTful APIs and micro‑service components.
• Participate in technical solution design, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
• Integrate with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, optimizing queries for performance.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high code quality and security standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Java.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and at least two enterprise Spring projects.
• Proven experience in micro‑services architecture and RESTful API design.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
