Senior Business Consultant

About the role

Anderssen Gauguin is seeking a Senior Business Consultant to combine strategic thinking with exceptional execution. Reporting to an Engagement Manager, you will lead workstreams, manage client relationships, and deliver high‑quality strategic recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead consulting projects from diagnosis through final recommendations and implementation planning.
• Structure complex business problems, develop hypotheses, and translate analyses into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Build compelling storylines and executive presentations for Steering Committees, Boards, and C‑suite executives.
• Conduct executive interviews, client workshops, co‑design sessions, and project review meetings.
• Perform primary and secondary market research, including competitive analysis, industry trends, ecosystem mapping, and benchmarking.
• Develop strategic plans, operating models, organizational structures, governance models, and business cases.
• Build financial analyses, business models, and P&L sizing to support strategic decision‑making.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and maintain proactive communication throughout project execution.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants by reviewing analyses, providing feedback, and ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of consulting methodologies, frameworks, and internal best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
• 3–5 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a related advisory environment.
• Proven experience leading project workstreams and managing client‑facing responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of strategic planning, operating strategy, organizational design, governance, and business model development.
• Experience conducting market research, operational diagnostics, financial analysis, and business case development.
• Outstanding problem‑solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguous challenges and develop differentiated solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior executives and C‑suite stakeholders.
