Senior Commodity Analyst – New Product Development

About the role

Milwaukee Tool is looking for a results‑driven Senior Commodity Analyst to support New Product Development, cost reduction and supply improvement initiatives. The role combines procurement expertise with data analytics to optimize supplier performance and drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and purchasing activities for NPD, including RFP/RFQ management, supplier engagement and quoting analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and supplier quality teams to ensure part qualification and production readiness.
• Negotiate tooling, per‑unit pricing, NRE and commercial terms with suppliers.
• Identify and propose cost‑reduction opportunities through alternative processes, materials or manufacturing sources.
• Gather, cleanse and analyze data from Oracle ERP and procurement tools; develop dashboards and reports using Power BI or Excel.
• Support forecasting and supplier capacity planning using historical trends and predictive models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supply‑chain analytics, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proven track record managing procurement projects across multiple regions.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
