Senior Cyber Security Analyst / Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Cyber Security Analyst/Engineer to join our Security Operations team. The role focuses on investigating and responding to security incidents, managing SOAR‑driven workflows, and continuously improving our security operations processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, triage, and respond to cybersecurity incidents across enterprise environments.
• Analyze alerts from multiple security platforms and determine appropriate response actions.
• Manage and investigate security cases generated through the organization’s SOAR platform.
• Perform incident analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and post‑incident documentation.
• Develop and propose improvements to detection, response, and automation processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, networking, and application teams to enhance monitoring and detections.
• Create and maintain incident response procedures, runbooks, and operational documentation.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve response times.
• Participate in threat hunting, proactive investigations, and shift rotations, including weekends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar cybersecurity operations role.
• Proven experience handling security incidents throughout the full incident response lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of security monitoring, alert triage, and incident investigation.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SOAR platforms.
• Experience with SIEM technologies.
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Knowledge of data brand protection or brand monitoring tools.
• Securing cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Solid grasp of network security fundamentals, operating systems, authentication mechanisms, and common attack techniques.
• Log analysis and threat‑hunting capabilities.
