Senior DevOps Engineer (Ansible expertise)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Ansible and modern cloud platforms. The role focuses on modernising a Developer Portal in Azure, building internal developer platforms, and delivering self‑service automation for engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve and create automated deployment workflows.
• Manage and optimise Azure cloud environments, including AKS and related services.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Use Terraform/OpenTofu to automate resource provisioning across Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Orchestrate containerised applications with Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud, pipeline and platform layers.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, security and observability of the platform.

Required profile

• Strong communication, problem‑solving and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver in fast‑paced environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Platform Engineering, SRE or Infrastructure Engineering.
