Senior Internal Auditor – Remote (Mexico)

About the role

Zillow’s Internal Audit team is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join a fully remote, high‑impact team based in Mexico. You will work closely with business partners to assess risks, evaluate controls, and provide actionable recommendations that support operational excellence and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Define audit scope, approach, and project‑specific risks for each engagement.
• Prepare workpapers, obtain audit evidence, and perform audit procedures for financial audits.
• Track audit progress, manage timelines, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Lead special projects, workflow improvement proposals, and deficiency assessments.
• Develop and evaluate corrective remediation plans based on audit findings.
• Collaborate regularly with internal and external auditors for review, training, and mentorship.
• Occasionally travel to Mexico City for office events and meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in external audit, internal audit, or a comparable assurance function.
• Experience with U.S.–based or multinational companies is preferred.
• Based anywhere in Mexico and comfortable working fully remotely.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
