Senior Java Full Stack Developer

About the role

Infosys Mexico is looking for a highly experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop and maintain enterprise‑level applications. The role combines backend Java expertise with modern front‑end development using React, and involves frequent interaction with clients and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality, maintainable code for new features and existing systems using Java, Spring Boot, React and related technologies.
• Lead design and implementation of complex features across the full application stack.
• Translate functional requirements into robust backend and front‑end solutions.
• Write and maintain unit, integration and contract tests, supporting TDD practices.
• Apply SOLID principles, design patterns and scalable architecture techniques.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers and enforce best practices.
• Engage with clients to clarify requirements and provide regular updates.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define scope, timelines and delivery expectations.
• Debug, troubleshoot and optimise applications for performance, scalability and reliability.
• Work with large‑scale enterprise systems, complex integrations and distributed transactions when needed.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven collaboration abilities.
• Experience delivering enterprise solutions in a client‑facing environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting (3 days onsite per week).

Required skills

• Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring AOP, JPA, Hibernate.
• Microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
• React, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• State management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
• React Hooks and component‑based architecture.
• SOAP Web Services.
• Reactive programming concepts.
