Senior Key Account Executive – Pharmacy Channel (Rapid Diagnostics)

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Senior Key Account Executive to lead the Pharmacy Channel Point‑of‑Care business for its Rapid Diagnostics division in Mexico City. You will be responsible for expanding the ARDx pharmacy chain footprint, creating new business opportunities, and building strategic relationships with C‑suite stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop pharmacy and retail channels by engaging strategic and potential customers.
• Introduce rapid‑diagnostic products, prepare proposals and negotiate contracts while protecting business interests.
• Manage forecasts to ensure product availability and align with epidemiological trends.
• Design and launch marketing and trade‑marketing initiatives to boost brand awareness.
• Map and manage stakeholder relationships at the executive level.
• Oversee full account management, including purchase orders, service levels, rebates, and returns.
• Maintain and grow the sales funnel using Salesforce.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience with wholesalers, distributors, or pharmacy chains.
• Proven ability to introduce new market and category opportunities.
• Experience negotiating contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
