Senior Manager – Manufacturing Digital Solutions (HVAC MES)

About the role

Carrier is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the strategy, modernization, and deployment of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) across its Mexico manufacturing operations. The role is pivotal for digital factory transformation, supporting new product introductions, plant transfers, and overall manufacturing performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the MES strategy and roadmap for Carrier’s Mexican facilities.
• Lead modernization, deployment, and ongoing support of MES while ensuring operational stability.
• Drive MES implementations, upgrades, and integration with SAP ERP, quality systems, automation platforms, and shop‑floor technologies.
• Support manufacturing initiatives such as new product introductions, plant transfers, and process changes.
• Partner with plant leadership to identify productivity, quality, traceability, and efficiency improvements.
• Manage cross‑functional global and regional teams responsible for MES development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, CAPEX/OPEX planning, and resource allocation for technology initiatives.
• Promote adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies including PLCs, robotics, industrial IoT, AI‑enabled solutions, and smart‑factory initiatives.
• Establish governance, best practices, standards, documentation, and training for MES solutions.
• Deliver measurable outcomes such as improved OEE, throughput, cycle times, and quality performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading MES strategy and deployment in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong collaboration skills with manufacturing, operations, engineering, quality, supply‑chain, and digital teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale technology projects, budgets, and cross‑functional teams.
