Senior Manager, Security Systems Engineering

About the role

This senior position serves as the corporate technical authority for security systems across the Beer Division breweries in Mexico. The role translates business security requirements into scalable technical solutions, defines standards and architectures, and manages the lifecycle of all security assets.

Key responsibilities

• Design enterprise‑wide physical security solutions, including video surveillance, access control, FOID, radar detection and perimeter technologies.
• Partner with brewery leadership, security, operations, engineering and IT to convert business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Establish and maintain hardware/software standards for cameras, network switches, access control devices, servers, storage and radar technologies.
• Lead evaluation, selection, implementation and governance of enterprise Video Management Systems (VMS).
• Develop network architecture standards supporting security systems, including segmentation, redundancy and cybersecurity controls.
• Maintain lifecycle roadmaps, identify obsolescence risks and develop multi‑year CAPEX plans for system refreshes.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensure cybersecurity compliance and provide technical leadership throughout project delivery.

Required profile

• 8+ years delivering enterprise‑level Business Intelligence or security solutions.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent project planning, analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with experience working independently across multiple sites.

Required skills

• Enterprise Video Management Systems (VMS) and IP camera technologies.
• Physical security system design, access control, credential management, FOID and perimeter intrusion detection.
• Radar‑based detection technologies.
• Enterprise networking: routing, switching, VLANs, fiber, wireless, network segmentation.
• OT/IT convergence architectures and cybersecurity principles for physical security environments.
• Storage infrastructure and video retention architecture.
• CAPEX planning, technical specification development and vendor evaluation.
