Senior Product Manager - Technology

About the role

Marsh, part of Oliver Wyman, is looking for a Senior Product Manager (Tech Product Manager) to join its Technology organization in Mexico City. The role is internal and applies Agile principles to iterative delivery, prioritization and cross-functional collaboration across initiatives and teams. It is a hybrid position with at least three days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and execute Oliver Wyman Tech initiatives aligned with firm and departmental strategy.
• Build stakeholder relationships, manage expectations and define roles, responsibilities and priorities.
• Partner with stakeholders and technology teams on annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop initiative plans with objectives, deliverables, milestones, communication plans and success measures.
• Apply Agile frameworks and lead delivery in fast-paced, cross-functional settings using Scrum, Kanban or similar.
• Facilitate planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives, and manage backlogs and user stories with Product Owners.
• Track critical paths, dependencies and risks, and manage resources and budgets.
• Report initiative health and status, run closure meetings and produce closure reports.
• Promote continuous improvement and ensure initiatives close properly.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager or equivalent, including product and initiative management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or equivalent experience.
• Solid technical background in product ownership, especially cloud implementation initiatives in large organizations (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, with proven ability to run meetings and present.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of Agile, Scrum and traditional initiative management.
• Proficiency in budgeting, invoicing and initiative financial management.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or GCP.
