Senior Project Manager

About the role

Vonage is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives that drive its communications API business forward. You will operate within the central PMO, partnering with senior leaders across product, engineering, operations and business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in alignment with sponsors and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines and roadmaps for multi‑disciplinary initiatives.
• Drive projects autonomously, proactively managing risks, issues and budget considerations.
• Track and report on milestones, status, risks and financials, providing clear visibility to all parties.
• Select and tailor delivery approaches (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid) to fit each project’s needs.
• Lead retrospectives, capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, resolve conflicts and secure alignment.
• Act as a trusted advisor to sponsors, flagging risks, shaping decisions and managing expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale, cross‑functional projects in a technology environment.
• Strong ability to work independently with high autonomy.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior leadership.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
