Senior Project Manager – Remote (Performance Marketing)

About the role

Our client, a U.S.-based performance marketing agency serving higher‑education and nonprofit organizations, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of multi‑disciplinary projects. You will own planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution across creative, web, paid media, SEO, and other service lines, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with agency goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent projects, tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Design, document, and continuously improve project management processes for all service lines.
• Own project budgets, collaborate with finance to assess profitability, and develop cost estimates for proposals.
• Plan resource capacity, identify staffing gaps, and mitigate delivery risks.
• Facilitate cross‑departmental collaboration and ensure smooth handoffs between teams.
• Communicate project status proactively to stakeholders and align execution with company strategy.

Required profile

• 10+ years of project management experience with a proven track record beyond standard execution.
• 5+ years in an agency environment, preferably across creative, web, paid media, and SEO.
• Demonstrated ability to build or overhaul project management systems and processes.
• Strong financial acumen for budget and margin analysis.
• Clear point of view on project workflow and confidence to advocate for improvements.
