Senior Recruiter - Engineering & Technology

About the role

ALTEN Mexico, a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group, is looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter in Querétaro. The recruiter leads the recruitment process for engineering and technology roles, partners with hiring managers to define staffing needs and build recruitment strategies, and mentors and supports junior recruiters.

Key responsibilities

• Work with hiring managers to define recruitment needs and create tailored job descriptions
• Sourcing candidates through job boards, social media and professional networks
• Screen, interview and assess candidates to evaluate their skills and fit
• Manage the full recruitment process and maintain a positive candidate experience
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs
• Mentor and train junior recruitment staff
• Track recruitment metrics and report progress to management
• Stay up to date with recruitment trends and best practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• 5+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in a senior or specialized role
• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and engineering and technology trends
• Proven ability to source and attract qualified candidates
• Demonstrated experience managing recruitment independently
• Fluency in English is highly preferred; engineering or technology recruitment experience is a strong advantage
