Service Engineer – Power Transformers

About the role

Join our Power Transformer factory in Guanajuato as a Service Engineer, where you will lead field service activities, manage warranty cases, and provide both remote and on‑site technical support for critical transformer issues.

Key responsibilities

• Review daily field service plans, active warranty cases, and technical reports, aligning priorities with the Field Service Team.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Manufacturing to secure resources, documentation, and materials.
• Provide real‑time technical support, make critical decisions, and arrange replacement parts or scope clarifications.
• Document findings, prepare detailed technical reports, and communicate results to internal teams and customers.
• Conduct site visits (≈15% of time) for troubleshooting, failure investigations, commissioning support, and strategic customer assistance.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in power transformers and field service operations.
• Excellent safety mindset and ability to work under high‑voltage, heavy‑equipment conditions.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and customer interaction.
