Shift Operations Manager

About the role

The Shift Operations Manager will lead shift‑level manufacturing activities, ensuring safety, quality, cost, delivery and productivity targets are met while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing strategies to achieve plant KPIs (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Productivity).
• Identify and eliminate losses and waste using data analysis and continuous improvement tools (SIS, root cause analysis, 5 Whys).
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a strong safety culture.
• Optimize production flow by removing bottlenecks and maintaining continuity of operations.
• Drive quality performance through QA systems, standards, and corrective actions.
• Manage cost deployment initiatives to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
• Develop and coach teams, strengthening technical and leadership capabilities.
• Foster high employee engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee implementation of maintenance strategies to maximize equipment efficiency (OEE).
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Engineering, Quality, HR, Finance and Supply Chain to meet operational goals.
• Support environmental initiatives and ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 50001).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10‑15 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of production systems, continuous improvement and root‑cause analysis.
• Proven experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate level of English (able to hold conversations).
• Strong leadership, communication and results‑orientation.
