Softlines Category Manager, Consumer Products Mexico

About the role

Netflix is seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Consumer Products Manager to lead Softlines and Stationery for Mexico and Northern Latin America (NOLA). The role will own the licensing strategy, build a strong licensee portfolio and drive revenue growth across apparel, accessories, bags, footwear, stationery and related lifestyle categories.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Softlines & Stationery commercial strategy for Mexico & NOLA, aligning global franchise priorities with local category plans.
• Identify category opportunities, create commercial plans and scale high‑potential partnerships across apparel, accessories, bags, footwear, stationery and back‑to‑school.
• Build and maintain a best‑in‑class licensee portfolio, ensuring each partner has a clear strategic role and execution capability.
• Own senior‑level partner relationships, presenting clear points of view and influencing commercial outcomes.
• Lead negotiations and partner development from prospecting and pitching to onboarding, deal execution and long‑term account growth.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Creative, Retail, Marketing, Ads, Brand Partnerships, Legal, Finance and regional Consumer Products teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in consumer product licensing, category management or commercial sales within the softlines or stationery space.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify white‑space opportunities and drive disciplined execution.
• Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing senior‑level licensee relationships.
• Ability to operate autonomously, make informed decisions and align cross‑functional teams without close supervision.
• Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency preferred for the Mexico market.
