Software Engineer II – Tijuana

About the role

Integer is seeking a Software Engineer II to support the full software development lifecycle for medical‑device and specialized battery products. You will work primarily in Tijuana, collaborating with internal and external customers to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to implementation testing and documentation.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded, following guidance from senior engineers and managers.
• Adhere to Quality Management Systems, FDA regulations, and other safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements.
• Work independently while applying standard engineering techniques and making minor adaptations to existing specifications.
• Review procedures and plans prior to implementation and conduct failure analysis of existing products.
• Participate in moderate‑complexity projects to develop, document, and implement new product and process technologies.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently with occasional guidance from supervisors or mentors.
• Strong judgment in selecting and applying engineering methods and tools.
• Proactive insight into technical challenges and a willingness to suggest improvements.

Required skills

• Experience with the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Familiarity with safety, environmental, and security management standards.
