Software Engineer – Platform (AUTOSAR)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our platform team developing a Fusion System for Advanced Driver Assist Systems. The role focuses on designing, implementing and testing AUTOSAR‑based components that fuse data from ultrasonic sensors, cameras and other sources to enable safe autonomous driving features. The position is based onsite at our customer office in Queretaro, Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate AUTOSAR application components and adapt third‑party software.
• Create detailed software design, unit‑test specifications and test reports aligned with the software architecture.
• Write source code following coding guidelines and perform static analysis to ensure MISRA compliance.
• Execute unit tests, generate test reports and commit artifacts to the configuration‑management system using CI, Gerrit and related tools.
• Maintain daily updates in CoreALM, report progress in project meetings and ensure deliverable quality against KPIs.
• Implement fixes and changes from problem reports, participate in peer reviews and support technical audits.
• Maintain production software by analysing change requests, implementing modifications, supporting validation and releasing updates.
• Travel to the customer site as required.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
• Experience in embedded software development using C.
• Familiarity with automotive network interfaces such as CAN, LIN and Ethernet.
• Hands‑on experience with Classic AUTOSAR and AUTOSAR basic software (BSW) application layer.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., GIT) and CI/Gerrit workflows.
