Software Engineering Manager – AHU Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Software Engineering Manager to own the full lifecycle of engineering software solutions for Air Handling Units (AHU). You will translate complex engineering rules into scalable Java‑based applications, drive technical decisions, and ensure reliable delivery from design through production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end development of AHU engineering tools, from requirements gathering to deployment and sustainment.
• Define architecture, select technologies, and guide implementation approaches.
• Act as primary contact for feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and solution design.
• Write clean, testable Java code and integrate components into a cohesive system.
• Oversee Scrum ceremonies, backlog management, sprint planning, and ticket triage.
• Mentor team members, prioritize tasks, and track execution progress.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Manage release processes, including compilation, deployment, and validation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of professional programming experience, primarily with Java (and optionally JavaScript or C/C++).
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented design and XML data handling.
• Experience with version‑control systems such as Git/GitHub and Perforce.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
