Software Testing Trainee Internship

About the role

ITJ is offering a trainee internship focused on software testing within the medical field. As a Software Testing Trainee you will join a high‑impact project, collaborate with teams in Tijuana and San Diego, and gain hands‑on experience that can lead to a full‑time software engineer position.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in testing and validating medical software applications.
• Work closely with developers and QA engineers to identify and report defects.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups and sprint activities with cross‑border teams.
• Document test cases, results, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Computer Science or related program, currently in at least the 6th semester.
• Good academic performance (high GPA).
• Conversational English.
• Available to work 6 hours per day on site in Tijuana.
• Motivated to learn in a corporate environment.

Required skills

• Python programming.
