Solution Project Manager

About the role

The Solution Project Manager will lead the full proposal lifecycle for customer solutions, ensuring all pre‑contract deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with Dematic’s standards. This role works closely with sales, solution development, and operations teams to translate customer requirements into viable proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end solution proposal process, from initial meetings to firm quote.
• Identify applicability of Dematic standard sub‑systems early in the sales cycle.
• Own the proposal schedule, communicate deliverable dates, and handle changes.
• Serve as the primary contact for Sales Region Directors and Account Managers throughout the sales cycle.
• Support Operations Planners during customer engagement and planning phases.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of technical and commercial customer requirements and act as the internal voice of the customer.
• Coordinate initial qualification, triage needs, and conduct feasibility checks on RFPs and specifications.
• Organise and lead customer workshops in collaboration with sales and internal departments.
• Partner with Solution Development Managers to allocate resources such as planners, engineers, and software consultants.
• Escalate resource constraints to executive leadership and support account managers in winning strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex projects through all phases.
• Strong ability to work within defined deadlines and budget constraints.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate across sales, engineering, and operations.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to translate requirements into actionable plans.
