Amazon Marketplace Category Merchant – Remote

About the role

You will own a defined block of our catalog – starting with extension cords, our largest category – as if it were a profit‑and‑loss business. You will monitor listings daily and make pricing, inventory and advertising decisions that protect rank and margin.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the category P&L, including in‑stock rate, contribution margin, TACOS and overall profit.
• Monitor top SKUs each day for competitor pricing, deals, stock levels, Buy Box status and listing health.
• Make pricing decisions within a clear rule set and apply a low‑stock governor to protect rank.
• Maintain in‑stock discipline for core winners by coordinating forecasting and sourcing.
• Improve listing quality – titles, images, A+ content, variations and pack configurations.
• Execute liquidation of end‑of‑life and slow‑moving inventory and expand winners to Walmart, Shopify and Canada.

Required profile

• 3+ years operating an Amazon Seller Central account, preferably owning a category or P&L.
• Fluency with Amazon fees, FBA economics, Buy Box dynamics and margin calculations.
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to own outcomes without direction.
• Proficiency with Helium 10 (or similar tools), Seller Central reporting and spreadsheet analysis.
• Excellent written English and proactive remote communication skills.
• Experience building SOPs, checklists and decision trees; Walmart Marketplace a strong plus.
