Solutions Architect (Insurance) - Fully Remote

About the role

CoverGo, a global no-code insurance platform for health, life and property & casualty insurance, is hiring a cloud technology-focused Solutions Architect. The role provides design and delivery expertise for solutions in a modern cloud-based insurance environment, working directly with clients to assess their needs, design tailored solutions and support business initiatives along defined roadmaps. It is technology agnostic but emphasises solutions built on AWS and/or GCP, with open-source, PaaS and SaaS elements. The position is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and advise on solution architectures
• Collaborate with Product Managers to align client needs with solution design
• Work with Delivery Managers to oversee the architecture approach during deployment
• Identify creative alternatives and ensure solutions meet client expectations and company standards
• Help select off-the-shelf components and guide clients through implementation
• Stay aware of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep improving solutions

Required profile

• At least 6 years of experience in solution architecture design and delivery in the insurance vertical, across multiple lines of business
• Experience delivering cloud-based technology solutions in an enterprise environment
• Ability to define and communicate a product or enterprise roadmap and to turn client requirements into solution architectures
• Understanding of business architecture models and patterns, and of insurance business processes across at least two lines of business
• Relationship management experience with corporate clients and strong communication skills
• English as primary language; TOGAF, Zachman or a cloud certification is a distinct advantage

Required skills

• Cloud-based solutions with high availability and scalability, ideally AWS and/or GCP
• Relational databases and NoSQL
• API and microservices design
• Authentication and authorisation concepts (SSO, SAML, identity federation)
• Advantageous: experience with low-code platforms and several programming languages
